Where is The State Room?
Location
The State Room is conveniently located at 638 South State Street in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah, right across the street from The Bayou. From 1-15 South, take the 600 South Exit and make a right on State Street and we are about mid-block between 600 South and 700 South. From I-15 North take the 400 South Exit and take a right on State Street. The TRAX station at the Courthouse is also within walking distance.
What seating is available at the venue?
Seating
The State Room features a mix of fixed seats, tables and chairs, and open floor space. For some shows, floor seating or cabaret seating is available on a first-come first-serve basis. All tickets are general admission.
The State Room is handicap accessible.
Where do I park?
Parking
Diamond Parking controls the lot immediately south and west of our building, their pricing is posted. There is street parking available, but please observe all parking regulations and meters. We always recommend ride share.
Is there food or beverage permitted at The State Room?

No outside food or drink is permitted inside The State Room. We have a full bar and some snacks.
Is The State Room an all-ages venue?
Over 21 Venue
No. The State Room is a 21 and older venue. Proper photo identification will be required for entry.
What is the photo policy?
Photo Policy
The State Room has a no-flash photography and video recording policy. In our venue it is very distracting to the performance. We also do not allow cameras with a removable lens unless there is prior approval. It is nearly impossible to set an exact policy relating to photos since there are occasions where bands encourage it. Please check with the Box Office.

Reserved Tables
Some shows at The Commonwealth Room will have Reserved Tables available as an upgrade to ticket holders. These reserved tables include two seats and a dedicated drink runner. If these become available for a show, an email will be sent to all ticket holders notifying them of their availability.

The Commonwealth Room is a 650 capacity live music venue presenting nationally acclaimed musicians and the finest local acts. We opened May 5, 2018. Some of the artists that have graced our stage include Graham Nash, Marcus King, Jim James, Orgone, Cody Johnson, Billy Strings and more!

Where is The Commonwealth Room?
Location
The Commonwealth Room is conveniently located at 195 West 2100 South in South Salt Lake City, Utah, right down the street from Pat's BBQ. From 1-15, take the 2100 South Exit and head east, pass the Trax line and we are your first immediate right. From State Street take 2100 South West and head south on West Temple, head west on Commonwealth Ave all the way to the end.
What seating is available at the venue?
Available Seating
The Commonwealth Room features an open floor space with platforms in the back that have some seats. There are also bar stools lining the walls of the dance floor area. Most shows are first come first serve for seating. For some shows, we will offer reserved seating for sale in advance.
The Commonwealth Room is handicap accessible.
Where do I park?
Parking
We have a large parking lot adjacent to our venue. There is street parking available on West Temple, Commonwealth, Utopia and beyond, but please observe all parking regulations and meters. The Commonwealth Room is not responsible for damaged or stolen goods. We always recommend ride share.

The majority of our events are 21 and over. If any event is all ages it will be clearly noted on the show info page and through the process of purchasing a ticket. Please have a valid form of ID when arriving.

This is an all-ages venue, under 3 are free in GA Lawn area, a ticket is required for all reserved seats. No Refunds/Exchanges. Rain or shine.
Accessibility
ADA tickets are available online until they are sold out or the show is sold out. We do not provide any seating, just an area for you to experience the event. Please be prepared to bring your own blankets and/or chairs for event.

Public transportation is complimentary throughout the greater Park City area. Carpooling or use of the free transit and e-bike systems are highly encouraged.

Where should I park and how much does it cost?
Complimentary parking is available at the Snow Park base area of Deer Valley Resort, 2250 Deer Valley Drive South, Park City, Utah 84060. Please allow ample time to arrive and depart the venue. There may be limited LOT 1 VIP parking available for purchase. Please check our ticketing page.
What Can I Bring?
Items ALLOWED to be brought into the venue:
- Blankets
- Chairs that are less than 9 inches high
- Picnics and coolers: all bags and coolers are subject to search
- Non-alcoholic beverages in factory sealed plastic containers (32 oz. or less)
- Empty, reusable water bottles e.g., Nalgene bottles, Camelbaks, aluminum bottles (32 oz. or less)
- Umbrellas and shade covers; must be taken down before the concert begins
Items PROHIBITED from being brought into the venue:
- Alcoholic beverages, marijuana and illegal drugs
- Tarps
- Ground stakes
- Grills
- Glass containers
- Flash photography or professional camera equipment
- Animals unless certified as a service animal
- Weapons of any kind (e.g. guns, knives, chains, studded/spiked jewelry)
- Items brought into the venue prior to the gate opening time will be removed
- Unattended items left in line outside the entrance gate will be removed
- Remote controlled flying devices or UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles, drones)
- Smoking is prohibited
General Info
May I purchase tickets on the day of the show?
Yes - if the show is not sold out, tickets may be purchased online throughout the event or on the day of the concert at the Deer Valley Ticket Office beginning 2 hours before doors. Children under 3 are free in the General Admission lawn section only.
What are the available seating options from which to choose when purchasing my tickets?
Seating options vary per concert series. Please check concert series' specifics pages for more information. Small, soft coolers must fit directly in front of your chair if you have a reserved seat. No chairs allowed in GA Floor area. Blankets and small coolers only. Are there any chair height restrictions? Chairs must be less than nine inches off the ground.
What kind of food and beverage options does the venue offer?
Personal coolers and picnics are welcome. In addition, at each concert, we will have multiple concession outlets available including Slope Side Taqueria, Mountain Side Grill, and beer and wine draft trailers located on the left side of the concert venue. Choose from a variety of tacos, rice bowls, hamburgers, hot dogs, cheesesteaks, salads, assorted cold beverages, and snacks. Gourmet picnic bags may be ordered in advance and picked up at the venue prior to the concert. Deer Valley Café also offers items to-go which are perfect for your concert experience. Deer Valley Café | Gourmet Picnic Bags Is there a Concession Stand at the concerts? The concession stand offers quick items to go, as well as sides, sweets and a selection of house made Deer Valley Creamery ice cream. Assorted beverages including cold beer and wine are also available.
