Description
The Revivalists
Eight-piece rock & roll collective The Revivalists – David Shaw [lead vocals, guitar], Zack Feinberg [guitar], Andrew Campanelli [drums], George Gekas [bass], Ed Williams [pedal steel guitar], Rob Ingraham [saxophone], Michael Girardot [keyboard, trumpet], and PJ Howard [drums, percussion] – have made the journey from hole-in-the-wall gigs to sold-out shows at hallowed venues, multiplatinum success, more than 800 million streams, and major media praise. Their fifth album, Pour It Out Into The Night (Concord Records) is a life-affirming album about living in the moment, fueled by lessons in gratitude and life realizations. As the world came to a standstill in the years since their last album, Take Good Care, personal experiences and life challenges abounded, with band members having their first children, getting married, and navigating the mental hurdles of lockdown. On lead single "Kid" – piano peeks through bright acoustic guitar as a bold beat powers the chantable chorus, "Hey kid, just sing the songs that wake the dead, then you keep them ringing in your head." “Kid” introduces an album that offers a nostalgic hopefulness rooted in living for who you are, an unburdening, and an appreciation for the here and now. Renowned for their live prowess, soulful alt-rock anthems, and outward generosity through their philanthropic Rev Causes initiative, The Revivalists broke through with 2015's Men Amongst Mountains, which featured the double-platinum smash "Wish I Knew You.”
Sons of Habit
Sons of Habit gets their name from the trailer where the band first started making music on a piece of land in Habit, KY. It’s where the band’s lead singer, Mitchell Douglas, called home, and brought together his writing partner, Hagan Edge, alongside Dalton Daniels, Jeffrey Parish, and NoahPatrick, to play together. The band’s organic beginnings can be heard in their music and felt in their live show, where they exude a natural chemistry. Although they’ve only been a band for less than a year, the members have a deep rooted history, all growing up in Owensboro, KY.Life took them on a number of different paths – accounting, fork lift sales, and mechanic work – but music ultimately brought them together as Sons of Habit.Since releasing their first single “Madeline” in July 2024, the band has racked up millions of streams and have played shows nationwide, opening for the likes of Ole 60 and Shane Smith & the Saints. Sons of Habit’s debut project, Nostalgia, includes five news songs, entirely cowritten by the band’s Mitchell Douglas and Hagan Edge and produced by Justin Eckerd.
